On the morning of Monday, December 19, Hard Rock was given control of the property&#8217;s operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This deal saw Hard Rock International pay $1.075 billion in cash for the operational assets of The Mirage Hotel and Casino. Also, for the real estate property comprising The Mirage, HRI has entered into a long-term lease arrangement with VICI Properties Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-to-expect\">What to Expect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Seminole Tribe of Florida, owners of Hard Rock International, announced intentions to renovate the site by constructing a massive hotel tower in the style of a guitar in place of the existing volcanic feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be no interruption in service at the 3,044-room resort casino as it undergoes a transformation into the Hard Rock Hotel &amp; Casino Las Vegas. <strong>The work is expected to take quite some time but will result in a radical redesign of the whole resort.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hard Rock intends to provide details about the renovated resort by the end of 2023, including the additional amenities and attractions planned for the property and a timeline for their development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/news.hardrock.com\/hard-rock-completes-acquisition-of-the-mirage-hotel-casino\/?_gl=1*1ros9de*_ga*MTI3NjcyODcwNy4xNjcxNDkyODMx*_ga_YBV12DNQ9Q*MTY3MTQ5MjgzMS4xLjAuMTY3MTQ5MjgzMS4wLjAuMA..\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a statement released on Monday<\/a>, company chairman Jim Allen claimed that the property would be adding thousands of workers to the operator&#8217;s already massive global workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;Today, we&#8217;d like to officially welcome the 3,500 team members at The Mirage to the 45,000 global Hard Rock family and express our gratitude to the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Nevada Gaming Commission for approving the gaming license for us to operate The Mirage Hotel &amp; Casino. The 200 plush rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel will have full spa services, an indoor-outdoor pool, and other luxuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TN Ward of Ardmore, Pennsylvania, and BurWil Construction of Bristol, Tennessee, will oversee <a href=\"https:\/\/original.newsbreak.com\/@john-m-dabbs-561119\/2850240908612-hard-rock-international-breaks-ground-on-permanent-hard-rock-hotel-casino-bristol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this project<\/a>, which is estimated to generate almost 1,000 construction-specific jobs.
