Evolution Debuts Live Casino Offering in West Virginia

To serve the growing customer base in the state of West Virginia, Evolution Gaming has now made its extensive live dealer online casino product available. A broad variety of Evolution Gaming’s online live casino games are now available to state-licensed operators. The first live dealer games for West Virginian online gamers are Live Roulette, Lightning Roulette, Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, Three Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

New Jersey became the first US state where Evolution launched a live casino studio in August 2018, followed by Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Connecticut shortly afterward. West Virginia is the fourth state in the United States in which Evolution will launch its Live Casino. Since September of 2020, the company has been running its slots portfolio in this market.

Live streams of Evolution games that will be available in West Virginia all come from Evolution’s Pennsylvania studio.

Evolution’s Commercial Director for North America, Jeff Millar, expressed his company’s excitement in bringing Evolution’s live dealer games to West Virginians. According to him, the experience of playing live at the tables at a land-based casino will be just as enjoyable for online gamers.

He went on to acknowledge that gamers in West Virginia had had access to the huge slot machine selection provided by the Group brand NetEnt for some time. Online gamblers may now place bets in real-time with actual dealers and alongside other online gamblers thanks to the live offering, which provides even more gaming options and, of course, an additional level of excitement.

More Expansion Plans

To further diversify its gaming library, Evolution has agreed to acquire Malta-based slot maker NoLimit City for up to €340 million. In exchange for an upfront payment of €200 million in cash and debt-free shares, Evolution will purchase the whole issued share capital of the award-winning studio and earn up to €140 million over the following three years depending on NoLimit City’s EBITDA.

With titles like Mental, San Quentin, and East Coast/West Coast, NoLimit City is in line with Evolution’s aim of providing its clients with the greatest gaming material. Evolution’s slot brand portfolio already includes NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Big Time Gaming, and now it adds the NoLimit City name to that list as well!

Jonas Tegman, a co-founder of NoLimit City, claimed that the two companies are in complete agreement on strategy. Therefore, he said he couldn’t think of a greater pairing than NoLimit City and Evolution. In terms of people, product, and technology, they are on the same page about how to get things done.
