Playtech-Powered Online Casino Coming to New Jersey

As casinos that were previously closed as part of the efforts to contain COVID-19 prepare to reopen their doors to customers, more operators continue to capitalize on the rapidly growing iGaming space. There has been an increase in the number of online gambling options for gamers all across the United States and all of them have a ton of great things to offer.

Players in New Jersey are about to get even more options thanks to the entry of the UK-listed Playtech into the state’s gaming market. The company has received approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) and is now licensed to supply its range of top-notch products to licensed gambling operators in the state.

Playtech’s popular online gambling products will be making their debut to the New Jersey market in the coming months. This debut will be facilitated by the gaming solutions provider’s existing agreements or deals with Hard Rock Atlantic City and bet365. These partners are certainly set to give the company the push that it requires as it strives to become the leading service provider in New Jersey.

More Expansion Plans

According to Mor Weizer, the CEO of Playtech, the approval of the license is a major milestone for the company. New Jersey is a lucrative market and it will be a great place for them to test out various gaming features as they prepare for an even wider rollout across the United States. It is just a first step that brings a lot of optimism about the long-term opportunity in the country.

“We are initially launching our online casino product in New Jersey and over time will increase our products on offer to include Sports, platform, and Live Casino and we will continue to expand into further states as they regulate.”

Thankfully, online gambling is something that so many states have been working on for the past two years or so. There are several new gambling markets that will certainly be valuable to Playtech’s expansion plans.

Playtech Sports Betting

While not currently available in the United States, Playtech has a pretty solid reputation in the sports betting space as seen from its sports betting operations in places like Poland and Mexico. All things considered, Playtech would definitely be a great fit if it ever decides to try its hand at sports betting in the United States. The country’s sports betting market has also been growing rapidly especially due to both online and mobile gambling. All we need to do now is wait and see how it all plays out. Meanwhile, if you are New Jersey, you might want to keep an eye out for the new iGaming offerings.
