Wynn Resorts Inks 10-Year Partnership Agreement with GAN

Thanks to a recently announced partnership between Game Account Network (GAN) and Wynn Resorts, online gamblers in the state of Michigan are about to get another online gambling option. The first regulated online gambling operations in Michigan will kick off in November 2020 and Wynn Resorts is going to leverage its new partnership as part of its efforts to be a competitive offering.

This partnership will be part of the market access agreement that GAN has previously signed with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. The tribe currently operates a total of five casinos under the Kewadin Casinos brand in Michigan. Needless to say, this is a pretty huge leap for GAN as it strives to extend its footprint across more regulated gambling markets in the United States.

As for its partnership with Wynn Resorts, Gan will be providing the gaming and entertainment operator with its world-class enterprise software that has not only been well optimized but also boasts of outstanding get-to-market capabilities. In addition, GAN’s solutions will allow Wynn to utilize some on-property reward program integration that will certainly appeal to a number of the operator’s customers.

GAN’s highly-acclaimed and industry-leading online casino games will be coming to Wynn but it won’t stop there. The gaming solutions and content provider also has plans to add games that have been aggregated by third-parties. For sports bettors, GAN will also be publishing third-party sports betting content which will be procured from third-party providers augmented by Betbull Limited, Wynn Resorts’ strategic partner.

As it stands, there are some pretty high hopes for online gambling in Michigan thus the interest from big gaming brands such as Wynn Resorts and GAN. To put this into perspective, the state is expected to bring in over $377 million in gross online sports betting and online casino revenue within the first 12 months of operations.

The revenue is then expected to jump to up $836 million by the time the fourth year of operations comes to an end. GAN is definitely set to benefit big time from the nascent market and so will the competition.
