The Cordish Companies have some pretty big plans of the Keystone State and one of them is the mini-casino that is scheduled to launch later this year in the Pittsburgh area. Despite all that has happened due to the coronavirus pandemic, the development of the operator’s Live! Casino Pittsburgh is still underway which further affirms the possibility of Pennsylvania gamers having one more gaming destination to visit.

As it stands, there is no specific launch date but with just a few months till the end of the year, players in the state will not have to wait too long. This is, however, not the only thing that they have to look forward to.

What to Expect

The $150 million Live! Casino Pittsburgh project covers 100,000 square feet which is enough space to house 750 slot machines as well as 30 table games. Some of the table games that will be at the facility include craps, roulette, blackjack, and baccarat, all of which are staple offerings at just about any brick-and-mortar casino.

The space will also feature a 7,000-square-foot corporate events and social gatherings space. In addition to that, there will be a Sports & Social Steel City experience spanning 22,000 square feet and spread across two levels. This particular space will have a total of 445 seats, a giant HD television as well as several interactive social games such as darts, ping pong, and bowling. The huge television will be showing major sporting events.

Speaking of sports, Live! Casino Pittsburgh has teamed up with FanDuel to offer a sports betting experience at the facility. FanDuel will be responsible for the operation of the sportsbook when the facility goes live later this year.

The new online gambling offering was developed in partnership with GAN and it lets gamers in on a ton of fun thanks to the amazing titles that are in its catalog.
